We are always looking for experienced forklift operators for the safe and efficient distribution of freight within the Depot.
Our forklift operators unload, sort, stage freight received and load outbound freight. Their tasks and priorities are assigned by the Depot Supervisors.
Forklift operators are required to be skilled in the loading and unloading of curtain sided rigid trucks and linehaul trailer combinations, including B-Doubles and Road-Trains.
Freight unload processes may involve scanning and checking of freight against manifest or consignment information followed by sorting and staging freight in depot.
We look for skilled and experienced forklift operators that understand depot operations and freight processes to minimise travel time and maximise productive movement time.

Applicant Requirements
- Current forklift license
- Prior forklift experience within a logistics setting
- Ability to work at efficiently and effectively in a safe manner
- Understanding and adherence to Chain of Responsibility and Safe Manual Handling Practices
- Commitment to safety protocols and a collaborative teamwork approach
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Literacy and comprehension
- Competency with using modern equipment (scanners, touch screens etc)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
