Our fleet includes Primer Movers & Trailers, Rigid Trucks, Vans and Forklifts. All trucks are Euro 5 emissions compliant. The size and scale of our fleet means we can always respond with additional or different sized vehicles to meet our customers needs. Most of our trailers and rigid trucks are curtain sided for ease of access when unloading and delivering. We prefer Toyota and Komatsu forklifts, with 3 stage container masts and 2.5t capacity. We also have some 5t and 10t forklifts for heavy work at our Gillman and Whyalla Depots.
PRIME MOVERS & TRAILERS
We prefer Volvo Primer Movers, FH13 and FH16 models that are road-train rated with weight capacity to 108t GVM. For trailers our preferred supplier is Vawdrey and trailer types include mezzanine drop deck, flat deck, A & B trailers capable of configurations including B-Double and AB-Triple Road-train.
We operate three main rigid truck configurations.
- 14 Pallet Rigid - Volvo FM11 370 curtain sided with 15t payload capacity for larger local deliveries and some smaller regional linehaul runs.
- 10 Pallet Rigid - Isuzu - FRD 110-260 LWB curtains sided with 11t payload capacity for local deliveries and some regional time critical freight runs.
- 6 pallet Rigid - Isuzu - NPR 75 - 190 curtain sided with 7.5t payload capacity for small local deliveries or where access restrictions prohibit larger vehicles.
While some different legacy rigid truck configurations exist in our fleet, all new and replacement rigid trucks are either 6, 10 or 14 pallet rigids to maintain a consistent vehicle profile to maximise interchangeability and ease of maintenance.
We care about the safety, reliability and appearance of our vehicles and operate our own maintenance workshop and truck wash from our Gillman Depot to ensure they are maintained at the highest standards. Our service technicians regularly inspect and service every vehicle in our fleet. We use maintenance software to record, store and schedule all service work performed. Our workshop along with OEM support are able to diagnose and perform preventative maintenance before on-road breakdowns occur.
This team also provides 24/7 on-road support on those rare occasions when a breakdown occurs.
In 2024 our fleet travelled more than 20 million kilometres with less than 10 immobilising breakdowns!
To support the rapid reopening of schools during the COVID-19 pandemic we were asked to deliver masks to every school in the state within a few days.
