Cross-docking is a logistics process where goods are unloaded from in-bound vehicles at a logistics facility & sorted onto vehicles handling outgoing shipments.  We perform a Deconsolidation Cross-Docking service where large in-bound shipments are sorted into smaller deliveries for delivery to receiver destination.   Our cross-docking service can accommodate various shipment frequency, sizes or sortation requirements.  

For track and trace purposes we scan our freight as it enters and moves through our network.  We use Zebra TC57x scanners for delivery and short range depot scanning and for longer range depot scanning we use Zebra MC94 'gun' scanners. Our scanning technology and systems provide us with end-to-end supply chain visibility.  We use a range of scan events to know every movement the freight takes on the journey to its delivery location as they happen.

While container destuffing seems like a straightforward process it requires pre-planning and organisation, particularly when dealing with different sized, bulky or awkward shaped goods.  If the container is coming from overseas, often they are not palletised, to optimise the container space usage.  This means an efficient destuffing, sorting, staging, validation and palletising process is required.

Our company owned fleet of 300+ vehicles includes Primer Movers & Trailers, Rigid Trucks, Vans and Forklifts.  All trucks are Euro 5 emissions compliant.  We also have 100+ partner vehicles working for us regularly across our network.  The size and scale of our fleet means we can always respond with additional or different sized vehicles to meet our customers needs.  Most of our trailers and rigid trucks are curtain sided for ease of access when unloading and delivering.
