Peter Retires After 17 Years of Service

This week we wished our Administration Manager Peter Medley a long and happy retirement as he steps down after 17 years with Cochrane’s Transport.

To mark the occasion, no doubt due to their sadness at no future visits from Peter, the local Commonwealth Bank branch closed down on the same day!

We will miss Peter’s humour, his depth of knowledge and loyal, hard-working, dependable nature.

We wish Peter all the very best with his retirement and hope he enjoys more time pursuing his passions and interests outside of work.

Congratulations Peter, and thank you.

End of an Era: Sean retires after 34 years of service

A fond farewell and best wishes to Sean who has retired in November 2024 after clocking on for more than 8,500 shifts and travelling millions of kms working at Cochrane’s.

Sean has played a huge role in delivering print media and freight to SA communities for the majority of his time with us: he has done everything from throwing papers onto the front lawns of homes to co-ordinating the fleet of vehicles that deliver to regional SA each and every night.
