In 2024 we are proud to have worked with the following organisations to make a positive difference to the lives of children and families across SA.
In 2024 Cochrane's...
- Delivered tens of thousands of books and resources to regional SA for Raising Literacy Australia’s Read to Me Program, helping to foster early literacy, support professional growth, and ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, can flourish through the magic of books and connection.
- Supported Backpacks 4 SA Kids in distributing backpacks containing a range of items that contribute to the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people during periods of dislocation from home and routine care in partnership with child welfare, child protection, family violence and homelessness agencies.
- Delivered over 50,000 items worth over $1m to people in need across regional SA to Good360 Australia charities and disadvantaged schools.
- Donated $30,000 to Variety - the Children's Charity of South Australia by dollar matching donations to their Radiothon, raising vital funds for South Australian Children in need.
- Donated the cost of meals for Meals on Wheels (SA) Inc customers in Burra, Clare, Crystal Brook, Laura, Mannum, Peterborough, Port Augusta and Yankalilla to celebrate the charity’s 70th birthday.
- Donated $20,000 to Operation Flinders Foundation, a SA charity that transforms the lives of young people through quality remote outback adventure programs, creating opportunities for young people facing challenges through adventure therapy programs that provide demanding experiences, personal development and pathways to wellbeing and life success.

2024 Variety Radiothon
We are thrilled that the tenth annual Radiothon posted a fundraising tally of $148,485 result.
We sincerely thank Cochrane’s Transport for committing to the dollar matching again this year.
The support and generosity is never taken for granted and continues to change children’s lives for the better.
